I think pic one. Looks nice and should give you a good functional light pattern.

They kinda look just stuck in there. Maybe close the hole around the light. When I did my '01, I mounted mine back a little bit. I then used mesh in front. The lights shine though just fine. I've used two different sets of lights, but the result is the same.

If you didn't have those stupid covers you might not need extra lights? LOL

I'd say #1 also. But I'm not sure where the stock lights miss and where the DL's can fill in. Final location would be based on that, or should IMO. You don't want to blind oncoming drivers and you want to illuminate the road ahead better, you will have to make compromises.

Mounting the lights back further can help with blinding oncoming drivers with a open lamp design like you have. It sets a cutoff so light doesn't travel as high, to some extent.

Also with pic #4, check your local laws. Here in MN we are allowed, legally, 1 set of headlights and 1 set of fog lights/driving lights. Though many people don't obey the law and I've never seen it enforced. Doesn't matter though, you should always think of the other drivers before yourself.

well the tint is only a 40%. so does not block much. also it is removable. when we took them off & on. i was still getting a good 300ft out with them off & 280 with them on. indiana law says you must b able to see 200 at least 200 out. also as for adding them i can do as mean as i like. as long as they do not flash in red or blue.

I like #1. It's more conventional and widely used but for a reason.

Also one more warning about legality. I don't think you can place the light in the center of the car like in picture #3.
