trying to get carfax for a new purchase

Hi All:
I don't want to look cheap, but I don't have access to a credit card and I am desperately trying to get a carfax on 1FAFP37N07W338004. I have been a buyer of Ford's ever since my first car (Ford Fiesta!; could not kill that thing!)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have found that Carfax or AutoFax reports are WAY too expensive. Here in the colonies, they want $35.00 for a single report. I'm not paying that. What you can do for free is to hit the Carfax website and input the VIN number. For free they will tell you how many separate items they have on that VIN. I looked up a used 2006 Focus wagon and it had 20 items listed on the report. Mind you, they won't tell you what those items are. I called the dealer and asked if they had a copy they could proivde me. They said no because it was too expensive for them! Since they are a business how do they expect me to afford it?

I have noticed that many cars listed on Autotrader and ebay offer a free carfax report. See if you can find your car listed there. Other than those suggestions the only way to get the info is to pay their high prices.
