Question airbag question/concern

this is the second time i noticed that the light that indicates the airbag has come on. does any one know what could be the problem for it to light up. the last time it happened i just turned off the car and the light went off. this time i did the same but the light came back on. what could be causing this problem?

Have you done anything to your car? Like remove the seat or something?

some could be that the ecu needs to be flashed, other than that, it could easily be a loose connection, or that the harness' need to be replaced. happens a lot on 2001-2003 camry solara's

I had the same problem a few weeks after I bought the car. I took it in for warantee work and it turned out to be a bad connection on the passanger side, side air bag. Take it in for warantee... took them one hour to fix. Not a problem

Yeah, or worse while your driving if it was a faulty sensor it could lead the ECU to believe the air bag needed to be deployed... That could get messy...
