MyFord Touch BT issues

I am having some issues with the bluetooth streaming with MyFord Touch and my android phone. It worked great for the first week.... OK it wasn't great but it worked, I had the same problem that most people were having with my phone's MP3 player automatically starting a random track. I could live with it though, just pulled out the phone, shut off the mp3 player, and turn on Pandora. (yes I know that MFT has an option to stop autoplay, and I know that the option doesn't do anything)

Now my bluetooth audio immediately disconnect as soon as I select it as an option. My phone bluetooth connection remains unaffected. To add insult to the whole thing my phone starts playing a random MP3 track when I get out of the car through the phone's speakers. Which can be embarrassing because the track is completely random.

The MFT option was a pricey option and I am a bit disappointed as a consumer that it isn't working properly. Media streaming is a pretty basic function these days.

I have checked numerous message boards, both for android and the sync ones and they all trail off with the original poster asking one more time if someone can help.

I am using the original droid from Verizon and syncmyride says I have the latest firmware.

So does anyone out there have any idea on a fix?

It has nothing to do with MFT, it is purely an issue with Android, specifically the Motorola Droid 1. I have the same phone and the same problems. Its not specifically limited to MFT. Mine sometimes will randomly starts playing music/google listen/pandora when I plug in a headphone jack. Or if I pause something and then get a text message/email it will unpause and start to play it after the vibrate. The media player is garbage on the phone unfortunately and I will be replacing the phone soon with something newer. I got so fed up with it playing music after getting out of the car that I deleted all the music off the phone. Guess what happens now? It plays my ringtone instead since that is technically a music file as well. FML.

LOL at your ringtones playing. OK well at least that identifies my issue, the phone is cheaper to replace than the car. It's a good thing I am due for a new phone in a few months. Thanks for the reply.
