Ordered a Titanium Hatch

Finally pulled the trigger this evening. Ordered a Blue Candy Titanium Hatch pretty much fully loaded:

Rapid Spec 401A
Luxury Package
Parking Tech
Navigation
Titanium Handling Package

Not sure how those packages map to what's available down in the US, but it covers pretty much everything you can get here (leather, seat heaters, backup cam, sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming rearview mirror, 18" wheels, etc).

I also did a pretty thorough test drive in a white Ti hatch that answered the last few questions I had. It convinced me that the ride quality with the handling package and the 18" wheels is just fine; firm, but nicely controlled and much better than what I'm used to in my Civic. I verified that my aging iPod Classic will work and that the sound quality from the Sony is somewhere between adequate and quite good (also a step up from the Civic in that regard). I also confirmed that the magic parking assist will work on the left side of a one-way street. If you signal a left turn when enabling the park assist it scans for a left-side parking spot and turns accordingly when it finds one. Finally, it convinced me that the reviewers who complain that MyFord Touch is too complicated and confusing are merely expressing their own personal inadequacies.

Now the waiting begins...

Nice!!! Very excited for you.

I did not realize you could parallel park on the left. I'll have to give it a try. So far it works like a charm on the right.

Also, the MFT isn't too complicated for me, but it certainly has mind of it's own on occasion. Oh well.

Lol, I couldn't agree more. I wouldn't have bought the car w/o it.

Some folks do have genuine issues with reboots and such, but I have confidence it's close to or already worked out for the most part.

That sounds a lot like mine, except for the handling package and color.
I've had mine 5 days and 1300 miles/smiles!
You'll love yours too!!

Not at all. MSRP $30679 and selling price $28479, which amounts to a $1200 discount after the $1000 delivery allowance. It was pretty much a haggle-free experience too, which I value more than the few hundred extra loonies I might have been able to squeeze out of them.

Thanks to all above for the congrats. July seems so far away...

You will like the Titanium, we picked ours on the 13th and it works great. I really do not understand the supposed problem with MFT, ours works perfectly with the occasional reboot or system update.
