Intelligence Access

Does anyone know if the Titanium model is the only one with pushbutton start? I have an SEL 5 door hatch spec'ed with 303A package, white platinum tricoat metallic, winter package, SEL Premium package, Parking Technology Package, 17" Polished Alloy Wheels, Stone leather interior, MyFord Touch and Sony Package, Power Code remote start system, Voice Activated navigation, SYNC with Nav System, Sirius Satellite and HD Radio, Leather Trimmed Sport Bucket, etc. With all of this, would this vehicle come with pushbutton start or is this a Titanium only item?

With as much as you'll end up spending on that SEL, can I ask why didn't order the Titanium?

You certainly can, I hate a black interior and here in the South where summer temps are into the 100's on regular occurances, it is just not practical. I suspect Titanium sales will be very low because of this. Several dealers have told me other models, not just Focus, have not done well with black interior. We have not ordered yet, just making a wish list. We usually load one up and yes, it is expensive. Our local credit union though allows us X plan pricing, which is basically employee pricing and it is a very easy, no haggle process. Call me an old fart, but this will be my wife's car and she hates the black interior even more than me!!!

Electech, I had the same thought about the black interior. I would have preferred the stone. However, the desire for the push button start over powered the desire for stone interior so I ordered a Titanium.

Pushbutton start and the handling package with 18 inch wheels are a big lure, but my desire does not overide the black seats!!

You guys could always get the Arctic White or Tuscany Red interiors with the Titanium. At least the seats wouldn't be ALL black!!

I'm only about 75 minutes down I85 from you, and thankfully we don't see summer temps quite that high on a consistent basis in my community. I do think the exterior of the car plays a much larger role, since there is such a large unprotected surface area exposed to the sun, and it just heats the cabin up up so quickly on a dark colored car (I suspect that's why you ordered white). However, I totally understand your reasoning. I, too would have preferred stone, but for different reasons. Oh well...
