Maybe if they put a bigger turbo on it to get some more power but that would kind of defeat the purpose of car seeing how its more for good gas mileage. A 105hp focus I just couldn't see myself buying.

I agree with you 100% but your average consumer trying to save money will take the plunge at least have a different option than a VW or Chevy Cruise

Yes, Ford has made great diesels and now they are not much noisier than the Focus 2.0L ...and definitely better on fuel mileage.
