Bit of easy money for blogging Socal Focus (and Fiesta) Fanatics.

Hey there, I know I don't post much here these days. Both my Focii are doing fine, so I usually only post now when I have a problem. But today I've got this market research company I sometimes work with looking for participants in a study for an auto manufacturer. I don't know who the manufacturer is but they seem keen to have fellow Focus drivers on board for this upcoming one. It's really easy cash - I just made $400 for spending 3 hours talking about my new Nissan.

Anyway, this next study they are looking for like 2 or 3 guys and it's going to work like this.....

Starting this coming Thursday, you'll be obliged to keep like an on-line diary, 1 short entry per day for any 5 days during the following seven. I have no clue on what (you never really find out in advance), but I get the impression they are interested in audio/video/telematics integration and in-car usage patterns. For this you will receive $300.

Then, if the manufacturer likes what they see, you'll be invited for a personal interview. For this you will be paid an additional $150.

Then, if they like how your interview goes, you'll be invited for a ride along, to give your impressions of one of their new model vehicles. For this you will be paid an additional $200.

Anyway, the criteria for the participants is that you must:

a) Be a Socal resident
b) Be in their target demographic, which I assume is adult below late middle age (I was almost too old myself at 49)
c) Have a blog of some kind, preferably automotive. But not be a professional (ie: compensated) writer.
d) Not be employed within the automobile industry
e) Obviously be willing to meet your obligations under the program

Anyhow, if you are interested, get in touch with me as soon as humanly possible. PM here or an email to
