my focus vs railgaurd=sadness

This weekend i headed up to my brothers place in San Diego and from there head over to vegas with his roomates as well. I ended up getting to san diego at around 11 p.m. The Grapevine on Interstate 5 was closed due to snow, and a couple other routes around it as well. So my next option was U.S 101 North and then onto 46 East. As i was on 46 East i felt my car hydroplaning quite a bit so i slowed down and switched over to the right lane.I soon came up to a semi and decided i would turn onto the left lane to avoid water splashing from his tires. Suddenly i hit big water puddle, hydroplane, regain composure and a couple seconds later bam, another puddle. I lost control of my focus, spun into a 180 and hit the guardrail.a little shaken up i turn my hazards on and leave my headlights on.i attempt to dial 911 but my phone had no service.i ran a small distance to try and see if i could get service but no luck.As all this is happening cars are passing by nearly clipping my car.A chick finally pulls over on the other side of the highway and dials 911.The CHP arrives and moves my car onto the right side and ask me if im okay.i did not get much out of it, my back hurts a little but i will be getting that checked out.So my car got minor damage to the front and rear bumper,as well as the hood.CHP escorts me a small distance to see if i feel comfortable driving my car as it was, it was running FINE.no overheating NOTHING. so im about 40 minutes from my house, an oncoming big rig rushes past me on 46 East and flips my hood open slamming it into my windshield and devastaing my hood. At this point im pretty freaked out at everything goin on. I tie my hood down with the little rope thing from my hoodie and get home.My car is messed up..not too bad.fixable.I thank god im alive. Now onto the pictures

By the way i removed the headlights and i will be getting some new stock ones

That's some MacGyver stuff right there. Very impressive! Glad you're alright. Think of accidents as future modding opportunities. That's usually the only thing that makes me feel better if my car doesn't get totaled out.
