Posted via FF Mobile Yup, but no surprise because the 2012s are coming and dealers needto move old stock out as quick as possible.

I suppose you know about checking "edmunds.com" to see rebates, incentive, etc in your zip code.

Hey, thanks for stopping by!

Yeah the Focus is a solid car and all. I have read a couple reviews of the 2012 Focus and it is a completely new car, with all new parts and what not. From what I have heard they may take a year to get all of the bugs worked out of it, so maybe a good cheap 2011 is the best deal right now!

I know I traded my Taurus for my '09 Focus a couple years ago and it is the best car I have ever had; it isn't really full of bugs like some of the cars I have had in the past (sorry Taurus forum :). What worked for me is that it is a good, simple, reliable car that doesn't cost a whole lot to run...all you have to do is learn a little bit about it and keep up on oil changes/routine maintenance and it should run as long as you would like it to. When something does go wrong, usually the dealers have a pretty good idea of what it is, or we are here to help!

Good luck with your car purchase, and if you get the car,

Yeah so i am most likely getting it tomorrow or within the next few days depending on the loan and how long that will take. I am choosing to go directly through my credit union instead of through ford credit... even though the ford guy said they've 'got my bank" or can go through my bank or something... This is my first car i am purchasing on my own, so it has been very stressful, exciting, and interesting at the same time.. Just hope i won't have any regrets when its all said and done.

Thanks for your opinions guys..

Yeah, depending on your credit and whats available, you should shop around for the best interst rate; whether from your credit union or what they can offer at the dealership.

I know when I bought my focus several years ago, my credit union had the best rate. My girl bought a new Mazda 3 last year and she got 0% from the dealership, so she didnt really need to shop around lol

That's a decent price IMO. Try for $12,995 though. I don't know what selection of 5-sp. Focus' are available in your area but you may want to go w/an SES/SEL b/c of the low rate financing you may get? (4-5%) Would only increase your monthly payment slightly. I bought an 09' SE 5sp. but w/the 200A option. I will say the leather wrapped steering wheel is really nice! Plus Cruise and Sync. You will enjoy the car whichever model you get!
