The shutters, okay that's so cool but wouldn't you want that cold air at higher speeds?
And the stop and go thing doesn't look too bad, looks to be really responsive.

So are we all sure that the active grille shutter system is only included in the SFE package, which is only available (initially) on the sedan?!? I hope not, because this makes no sense to me. I understand that less drag = better MPG, but you could argue that the active grill shutter system (AGSS) would also increase performance (again, less drag). So why can't we have this on the Titanium model. Perhaps include it with the handling package? Personally, I'd much rather have the AGSS than a car that can park itself.

Kind of ironic that the subject of one of these "global" ads is a feature that's not available in the US (start-stop).

I'd like to see this demonstrated before they stick it into American cars. Seems like an exascerbated traffic jam waiting to happen (could be activated hundreds of times in rush hour traffic per day!) Would likely be a warranty nightmare.

I personally disagree with all stop/start tech if we don't have the freedom to turn it off ourselves. Cars do not use much gasoline while idling, and although it might be worthwhile when you're stick 50th car behind a light in the afternoon- I don't see as it will be worth it to turn off when you're stuck in a highway jam.

Ford, just give us the option to turn it off, and then you can blame the fuel economy discrepancies on turning the function off.

Well said Alex. If IIRC it takes more fuel to start a car then sit an idle, but I could be wrong with these newer cars.
