Question chrome bug deflector

I was thinking of installing an AVS chrome bug deflector on my new 2011 SEL since there is a lot of chrome on the car already. I have them on all of my other vehicles because without them they tend to get a lot of chips in the paint on the leading edge of the hood. Does anyone have one of these chrome bug shields? I don't want it to make the car look ugly. Any pictures you could post would help. Thanks.

Most people on here aren't really a fan of chrome on their cars, they usually go out of their way to remove it. Cant say I've seen many (if any) bug deflectors on a Focus.

I would suggest a clear bra for the front of your car. Search e-bay and you should be able to find a clear protective film for the front of your car.
like this from 3m:
YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

There are also videos on youtube if you want to see it applied. I think its a better alternative to a bug shield, especially from an aesthetic view point. 3m is also the maker of the film that adds that protective satin black look to the Focus RS500.
