low profile jack stands > exist?

1st. I am not sure where to put this. So mods move as necessary please.
I have been looking for low profile jack stands. with a range of say 6" to 10" (actually, I would like 5" but that is pretty low).
Do these even exist? Or am I stuck making something out of wood (not optimal).
Thanks!

My Rhino Ramps ramps are lower than my jackstands. Good for changing oil and stuff if your car is lowered but can get in the way for other repairs.

I have a set of ramps. But even on them, my shortest jack stands are still to tall to just slip underneath for safety.

I don't understand the point of low profile jack stands? If you're jacking the car up, why not jack it up high enough to get normal stands under?

Yeah mine don't fit either and they are the 2 ton jackstands you can find anywhere.

Many times, I just want the car supported while a wheel is off. I don't want to have to jack it up 12 inches when near ride height would suffice. This is not for doing anything under the car btw! It would be optimal to just be able to lift the car say 2" from ride height and slide a stand under it, then remove the jack. Ramps work, but they get in the way if your doing anything close to them. Make sense?
Also, what tjboston5676 said. For me to use even my 'short' stands, I have to jack one side to a precarious angle. It is just silly!

Agree. Invest in a quality floor jack. It gives you options when choosing where you want to jack your car up, and it's low enough to get under the car. I have a small 2 ton jack that I carry with me everywhere. I always junk the crap stock jack that comes with the car.
