Angry How many Foci's have been keyed?

I was just wondering how many people have had their Focus, and/or any other car for that matter, been keyed? I just got back from eating lunch and noticed that my front hood was keyed up pretty good. What I don't understand is that I don't know anyone in Ohio so why would someone do this to another person? Is our society that ****ed up? Sorry I'm alittle angry and I just needed somewhere to vent, I apologize.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

I think one of two things happened.

1. Someone ran into the front of your car and scratched it up and left.
2. Some neighborhood kids got bred and your car happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Kids will be kids....

I never had a car keyed but have had a beer bottle thrown at it as a car came down a hill and my car was at the bottom and they thought that it would be fun to throw a beer bottle on my car. Never caught those SOB's

Not yet, thank God. I'd freaking flip out if it did happen. I just noticed we have the same car, too! Good luck on getting that repaired - from what I understand, Sonic Blue is a 3-stage pearl paint and those are VERY hard to match, even for a good body shop. Don't even think about touch-up paint, it will never look right. Sorry about what happened.

I've never had it done yet. Hopefully never. That's ther reason why you carry a club around with you to bash their heads in....if you catch them.
Sorry to hear what happened to your car. People are dumb like that and don't care about anything but themselves.

I had something similar happen to my focus. One day I got my car washed and my parents happened to notice that someone had hit the side of my car with their door in the rear passenger door. I was mad as heck. I drove to my apartment and parked. The next day when I went to leave. I had a huge "matching" dent in the rear door on the driver side. The other person scratched up the door and the sill and it is SO annoying. I don't really know if there's any way to fully fix the dents so it's put a damper on my modding outlooks.

I haven't been keyed, but I have had a paintball shot at my focus. Some sob shot at it on my college campus about 1 week after I got it. As soon as I heard it hit, I slammed on the brakes, stopped the car and chased him down. I took the paintball gun and shot him in the a$$ with it and asked him how he liked it. Then I took out the CO2 cartrige and ran the gun over with my car. The paint wasn't what bothered me, as it is water soluble. The problem was the dent in the passesnger door. Luckily for the guy that did it, I was able to remove the dent with a plunger. Otherwise, the repair was coming out of his hide.
