Sorry man, bad news!! You have changed the filter for the passengers cabin, the interior filter, dont you? The black plastick part that it is in the end of the front windshield(on the left as looking from front), when you take it out to put a new cabin filter, the glue is bad and dont stick again. Also there is a possibility the filter is set wrong in the hole. All these makes a little openning on the top of this plastict onto the front windshield. When it rains the water gets in the cabin from the heater box, bellow the interior filter.

First you take a new plastick piece, then you put some specific and extra tight glue on that, so you can put it on again. The most important is to put in the wrihgt way the interior filter into his own box!

Yeah, if it is a recall they have to fix it for free. Just bring it to any Ford dealer, they will run the VIN and see what recalls have and haven't been done.

sorry to say but it isn't a recall... just a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) meaning if the ford tech looks up your concern on the ford computer it will point out this concern and how to fix it. Ford will do the repair no charge only if there is still factory warranty on the vehicle. If not they will have to charge you what ford gets paid from the warranty claim.
