Deliberate Illegal Parking

Ok this is pretty much going to be a rant but I just got back from my local CVS and being it was dark and cold out, the parking lot was pretty empty, plenty of spots and ones right next to the store. First off there was a car parked in what I thought was a spot and I pulled infront of the car, only to realize when I got out that it was not a spot at all. So back in and to an acutally spot. While in the false spot, this guy in an older acura kept backing up and changing positions of his car, getting very close to mine. I don't know what he was doing but then realize he was trying to pull into a spot...obviously this guy didn't know how to drive because it seemed like he went to far past it, so all he really had to do was back up and just turn right into it. But he proceed to try to straighten out his car as much as possible so he could pull in. Why idk but it took him a while. After I reparked my car I noticed he pulled right up into a handicap spot. I was like...ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? There are so many spots in the lot and even ones right at the store front and you deliberatly park into a handicap spot. Why, are you that much of a dbag?

Now I've seen people do this allllllllll the time and they are obviously not handicapped or have a sign hanging from their mirror. Usually its people waiting in their car for someone, and the handicap spots are the closest to the store...so where else would you park right? But like I can see if the lot was full and there were no close spots, but this jack off passed all the other open spaces and parked in one of like 2 or 3 handicap spots. It was so obviously deliberate and like he didn't even give a damn. I just wanted to bash his windows and key his car.

Share your stories, and try to explain to me who these people think they are? Besides scumbags.

how old was he?

that sounds like my grandpa, but he's 94, i know he'd do it, but its not cause he's being a dbag, its cause he's got this annoying syndrom called oldness.

I wouldn't complain if I saw a 94 year old man doing it. Probably more that he was driving in the first place. LOL

The guy was probably 25 or younger. Even if he parked in the furthest spot he was very capable of walking less then 100 feet to the front of the store.

ok, ya, there is a slight difference there (and no, my grandpa shouldn't be driving, he won't go past 35 mph, and thats on the freeways! my rents follow him when he insists on driving and put their flashers on)

That's really sad...
But hilarious at the same time!

My grandma drives a huge Buick Boat and drives with both feet. Bugs the hell outta me. She says it's because of farm trucks back in the day.

My grandpa is one of those "brake lights are always lit up bc i drive with 2 feet, and can't hear/tell that the brakes are engaged" kind of people.

ticks me off as well to see people parked in handicap spots that have no business doing it. get your mess together and walk the extra few spots, or 100 feet, either way it isn't going to kill you.

it annoys me just as much though, the people that figure "oh, such and such is dead and gone...but their handicap parking tag isn't!" that's wrong. ok, i'll give my gf's grandmother a pass on that one. handicap? no, but she is beginning to show her age and probably will have her own in a few years and doesn't use it all the time. but others, like ooooh i'll use my grandpa's handicap tag. wtf? handicap spots are there for a specific reason. and it's NOT you.

driving just irritates me at this point. and i'm only 22. actually, i enjoy driving. it's all the morons on the road that irritate me. like last night. thank god the focus enjoys high speed swerves. moron saw his yield sign and must've thought to himself "GREEN LIGHT!" leaving me to swerve to the next lane, thank god it was empty as well, doing 50+. earlier in the day, was with my gf's family, in the back seat, and just watching all these cars fly by us in the right lane, wondering if her uncle would ever get out of the left lane. we were barely doing the speed limit. oh, and all the morons that like to drive with no lights on at night, "oh i don't need to turn my lights on yet, there are plenty of street lights." and the idiots in my apartment complex that figures, hey, there are no lines on the road in here so i can drive down the middle despite the fact you're coming my way, oh and while i'm at it, i'm not going to check up, let alone attempt to stop at the only 3-way stop in the parking lot, but i sure hope you do or we're in trouble!

i hate morons. and lazy morons. especially lazy morons that drive.

*end rant*

I was at walmart a few days ago. And you know those yellow lines they have at the front of some of the car "aisle". Where its supposed to be like a median, helping people figure out where the parking lanes are. I watched a 25-27 year old couple park right up front, on top of the yellow lines. Get out, and walk into the store. I wanted to call the police. Not that it matters, but they were of a darker race.

(Ps, this was not in front of the store where the "drop off lanes" are. It was as described, yellow lines on floor, marking where you turn)

oh yeah, see that one all the time too. usually it's the spot there at the front of the actual aisle, but have seen them park there in the fire lane more than once.

You said he was at a CVS? Perhaps he was sick, picking up meds, and wasn't feeling his best.
