Owned mine 2 years. 40K miles. Zero and I do mean zero issues. It's been a rock solid car (as was the Focus I had before this.)

I have the 2.3 Duratec with a 5 speed manual. Not sure what engine/transmission combo you are looking at. If you are thinking of doing some modifications, just keep in mind there is no where near the support for the vehicle as the Focus has.

Test drove an '09 Fusion with the 2.3L and a five-speed. Around town, it was sluggish to accelerate because it weighs quite a lot more than a Focus. Nice car, otherwise. If only they'd sell the V-6 with a manual, I'd have bought one.

Sure wish they offered that combo, too.

My exhaust/intake combo offered the typical slight improvements, but what really altered how the car feels and responds was the tune. Dramatically changed how it feels, does not have that sluggish feel you felt (which definitely was there before the tune.)

My wife has an 2007. I (being jealous) def. recommend the Auto V6. The 4-cyl isn't worth the money unless you go all out for a Hybrid model. She has the SEL V6. Its white w/ Black Leather interior w/ Spoiler. I like the White personaly.

Its a 2007 with 53k miles on it. It is the 4 cylinder engine though. It looks clean by the pictures. And for the mod part, I tried looking for some forums, but there wasn't much in the way of them..no way near as much as for the focus..which blows..

I've played around with the '10 one and I'd have to say its awesome.

Nothing to say about the previous ones other than that I don't like the exterior..
