What do you think this car is worth? so i guess if you were in the market, what would you pay?

2001 ford focus:

Fully loaded, all power options:
Brand new (less than 1000 miles) eibach sport suspension:
Full navigation system. voice activated w/ a touchscreen.
DVD player
Flip down TV's in visors
lockout keypad on driver's side
5 speed
Brand New Transmission (not refurb)
Brand new motor (less than 500 miles on it)
Brand new CV's
SVT wheels
Car itself has 70k on it, but like i said, brand spankin new motor and transmission, and clutch. Brand new brakes, new suspension, interior is flawless, exterior is pretty much flawless. No rust, clear title. basically like a new car. if you went on kbb and ran a search on any car and it asks you what condition the car is in. it says excellent is the top 5% of all cars, well this is in the top 5 % of the top 5%!!! its in that good of shape. so i guess i'm wondering what you would spend on it if ur looking for a good DD?

I've seen dealers sell them for up to 8.5k on autotrader and cars.com. i know i won't get that much but i'm just wondering what i should list it at? (if i decide to sell)

I just got engaged, so i'm not sure if i want to sell it or keep it. but i need the money for the wedding, and don't need 4 cars. but at the same time, it will last me another 10 years.

Personally I wouldn't pay over $5k for it, but that's just me. The only reason I say that is because it's 9 years old and the higher mileage on the body. You can get a 2002 SVT with the same mileage for around $5k.

true. i'm thinking about taking out the navigation system and selling it separately cause its worth ALOT in itself. I'm not gonna mess w/ the supsension cause its gonna cost the same to get a new suspension thats OEM for what i can sell the performance one. but ya, i was thinking about listing it for 6k, i'd prolly take 5ish.

o, and another thing. ya, i'd want an SVT too, but we're looking performance oriented. for someone who's looking for a good DD to go back and forth to work in or whatnot isn't gonna care about an SVT. but i did ask what would "you" pay. but i guess the market for this car will be more of a lets get a nice family car good for gas mileage.

Damn, I didn't see the navigation in there either. I would take that out for sure. You should be able to get a lot more for that when you sell it by itself rather than with the car!
