So is it acceptable to just park at gas pumps??

I eat lunch everyday at Subway at a gas station and literally everyday I see atleast one person park at a gas pump, come in and get Subway and leave without getting fuel. Regardless if there is parking spots available. The place usually isn't busy around this time but I know if someone did that while I was waiting to get gas I would be furious. This can't just be a local thing but it still baffles me why people do it.

Maybe it's one of those Ohio quirks. In WI we kill people for far less than that.

Off topic:
Is that your Gremlin in your avatar?
My grandpa had a baby blue one. They were having a garage sale and my grandma asked him if she could sell it, he said sure. She hated it so much she put a $200 sticker on it and sold it that day.

My mom tried to learn to drive stick on it, but it had no first gear...

Right that makes sense. Personally though, if there's no room to park at all and I'm not getting gas, I usually just find another station.

No not mine, it would be cool to have one though. I guess it's kind of misleading to use it as my avatar. It's a shame your grandparents let it go like that but it's definitely a weird little car.

Long as there's pumps open it doesn't bother me.
