What kind of gas/fuel/grade?

For premiums, 91 or 93?
Had all these options, and didn't know if it was a topic to talk about.

Tried a search and only topics about mpg's came up... lots of em'

In mine I run 89, but that's because I dont' need anything higher. In my old M5 I ran 93 or 94 if I could find it.

My personal opinion would be that if the car says it takes premium I'd use the one that says "premium" right above it. I could be wrong though.

seeing as how we dont have 91 i would have to mix it myself, which isnt too hard. 5gal of 87 and 5 gal of 93 gives you about a 91 reading. that is way too much time spent at the pump. swipe card, fill to 5 gal. reset. swipe card, fill rest of the way. yeah too long. 93 for me when i get all my work done, until then 87 will do the trick.

93 oct is the highest we have here (no 91) so in the SVT we get 93 and nothing less. I even have 2 10gal gas cans to fill up for the SVT for when we have a gas shortage during a hurricane.

No need to run anything other than lawn-mower grade 87 on my all-stock power-train. I've found on past cars that using a higher octane than what's called for blunts performance and fuel economy.
