If there's no rust it's a pretty good deal.

If the 01 is in excellent shape , drives good and no rust I would say that is a very good price.

I have an 01 F 150 with 23,xxx on it and come to find out its not gonna bring much money if I ever decided to trade it .
But for that price , sounds like a very good deal to me .

well its at a garage right now for the slave cylinder so when i go look at it either tommorro or tuesday ill ask the mechanic there what he thinks of it and ill have him go threw it. but as far as i remember its in very good shape and it drove fine when i drove it a few months back. i checked craigslist in maine and NH and i couldnt find anything this new for this price. and everyone could use a truck.

original battery
belt
starter
alternator

he is knocking on the 200k door. i think he has 194k on her right now.

Looks like a good deal to me but like already said that's IF you need it. Don't buy it if it's just gonna sit there and not be used.

Sure dude, buy it and give it to me as an early christmas present. Ill even come pick it up haha. But that actually sounds like a good deal, as long as its not a rust bucket.

I have a 2000 F-150 XLT Supercab with the 4.2L V6. I bought it from my Dad and it has had very few problems over it's life. The only thing that had to be replaced on it recently was the starter and a steel line coming off the master cylinder. Was scary as hell when you're coming up behind someone and you feel the brake pedal slam to the floor and your brakes are locked up. All I could see is the lady looking at me through her rearview mirror and her white knuckles bracing the steering wheel for impact. Lucky for me I stopped in time but it was a close enough experience. You will want to check all the brake lines to make sure they are in adequate and working order because over time they will rust and corode into nothingness. My truck has 135,000 miles on it and runs like a charm. For $1,500 it's not a bad deal at all. There is more than likely rust starting to form along the bottom edges of the doors and at the bottom of the tailgate but it's nothing to really worry about.
