CD Player

Hello all:

I just bought a Ford Focus. The CD player has a broken CD button. It is kind of pushed inside. Is it possible to get the button alone. I don't know if it is broken from inside or it is just misplaced. Is it possible to buy the button alone? How can I remove the CD player?

Thanks.

You mean they didnt give you the detachable buttons? You can probably order that from Ford but it will cost an arm and a leg. You're better off going aftermarket. If you look on the head unit there are two holes on each side. There is a tool that you can buy at WalMart that will allow you to pull out the radio.

I'm confused as to what you mean. If you can, post a picture of the problem so people can take a look at it.

No I don't think this is a detachable button. There is one little strip that goes through Button marked "2" to "5" and I have that. This is the button marked "CD" that is used to change from Radio to CD.

Yes, I see four holes. Walmart idea is good. I will check.

Thanks.
