08,09,10 owners with cloth seats please respond

Alrighty, so my driver's side seat was and is driving me batshit insane with a very annoying creaking noise when pressure is applied to the seatback.
For example: getting into the car and sitting into the seat, any slight movement where your back puts less pressure onto the seatback and reapplies pressure.
When it got worse I could hear it almost anytime.

My first seat started making a noise at around 16k miles. It progressively got worse and I finally brought it to the attention of my dealer at 20k. They ordered a seat back from Ford and replaced it last Monday.

Seat was installed and yay I was a happy camper, the noise was gone!

Now on Thursday, I hear a slight gentle creak again. THE FREAKING NOISE IS BACK and it's only gonna get worse from here.

Now does anyone have this noise in their seat or is it just me getting screwed with it?
If you do have that noise have you found a solution other than having them keep replacing the seats? (That's what I'm thinkings going to happen when I go back and tell them its back)
How many miles did your seat go before making this stupid noise?

I bought a Honda Accord coupe last year, a 2009, that didn't have two of the four bolts that bolted the seat to the floor. It creaked really badly until the dealer took the seat out and was wondering why they only needed to remove two bolts. I'm just glad I didn't wreck and fly through the window because of negligent idiots at Honda. That was actually by far the most minor problem with that car. Needless to say, that car is gone from my life.

That sort-of noise happened on my '06......I imagine your seat is almost the same inside the seat back. The problem......the support rods for the springs. The upper pivot/mount point makes noise. I fixed mine a year ago, right after I got the car.

I don't know if there's a permanent fix for that problem....if it's the same as yours. But since I did this fix, my seat-back is completely quiet. here's a link...

Fix for noisy seat-backs...

Other than replacing the seat-back, the dealer probably can't do anything. Good luck getting it fixed.

Well it never made it to the part where it crunches on the first one but it was a very annoying creak like a creaky wooden floor

So what the hell is up with this? So far only bluefront probably had the same problem? Not only that, a new seat they put in started to do it so much faster than the original?
driving me nuts.

I just looked at the service order for the replacement. They also replaced the seat belt retractor assembly. I haven't heard my seatbelt rattle like it did before though. So maybe that's something for you guys to look at if it's rattling.

^^^^^^^Lot of things going on here......it's quite possible you and I are really picky about strange noises. Probably a lot of others are also, but they have more pressing problems than a seat squeak.

Then many people here have noisy cars.....exhausts, suspensions, tires, etc. What's a little seat noise when your exhaust gives you and others a head-ache?

The design of that seat springing setup. leaves a lot to be desired. It's a squeak waiting to happen......
