Long shot here, need advice on damaged wheels

Last night after running home late from the gym I decided that instead of using the manual car wash I would go through a hands free car wash at a local gas station. Well that will never happen again. I apparently was slightly left of the tracks that you line up on and smashed both of my left wheels on the curb/barrier. I immediately went into the gas station attendant to see what could be done(if anything). The general response she gave me is that since it is a hands free wash they are not at fault? It is being looked upon as if I damaged the wheels? I looked at the signs in ft of the car wash and there is no mention of or legal terminology that states anything to the effect of "hands free wash, damage done to vehicle is not the responsibility of said gas station". I was told to call in to speak with the manager which I have done and left a message with. If he does not respond by the end of business tomorrow I'm going back in there to see what can be done. I also have my receipt. FML!

So why is this a SVT issue? Sounds like a wheel issue. Im sure this thread will get moved.

There is a how to on repairing and painting wheels in the how to archive. Painting is about the only way to hide the scratches on wheels.

they are svt wheels? I'm not asking on how to repaint them I'm asking on what can be done(probably jack shizz) to get mine either repaired/replaced or the cash to do so from the local gas station. If needs to be moved let me know please.

Well there is nothing you can do other than ask the manager or owner. If they say no, your out of luck. Every car wash Ive been in say enter at own risk.

Yeah I'm wondering if I should try with the company of the car wash, or possibly with my comprehensive insurance.

i'm sure there is some sort of disclaimer, and if there is, you are out of luck! they will say it was ur responsibility to make sure it was lined up right, and if not, then u are at fault, thats what they are gonna say.

Something's not right with you if you're an adult and you think anyone owes you something because you cooked your rims in a car wash. Live and learn ace.
