2003 SVT EAP value?

I've found a nice 3-door with EAP w/38,000 miles. Above average but not perfect (cracked bumper cover and few gravel chips). Original owner no mods. Is $8500 a good price?

Cracked bumper, how?
That alone makes me leary of the car. Sensing an accident, the owner making an insurance claim, pocketing the money and wanting to sell the car for more profit and get something else rather than fix it.
I would keep looking but I'm on the picky side of the spectrum.

I've looked a long time. The crack is about an inch long. Looks like he backed into something. I think it can be repaired and not need a new bumper cover. BWT, the guy hasn't been advertising it. I approached him.

I paid $11K for my 2003 EAP SVT back in January '06 (or was it early Feb??). It had 36K on the clock and that included a bumper-to-bumper warranty until 75K. So yeah, thats not a bad deal...but not necessarily a good one either considering your paying almost what I did 3.5 years ago.

got my 04 with the wingswest kit on it, sts.
interior flawless paint needs to be worked on.

rebuilt title haha
3700 dollars after taxes!
the taxes and registration were about 600 bucks so i paid 3100 for the actual car.

then about 3 months later after modding it, engine went.
the body has 68k on it (half of it new, inclduing tranny from ford)
and 35k on engine.

but deffinately try to talk him down, times are tough so not much business going around.
