Look on Vehix.com in the used car values and see how much they say it's worth.

First of all, use periods. Yeah, you could probably talk them down a little bit, but not much.

Thats not a "bad" price, but I'd like to see you score it for around $6K or so. Good luck!

I must have gotten ripped off. I paid 6700 for my 03 SVT with 91,865 miles. It was in great condition and pretty much perfect. I used Kelly Blue Book to check the value of my car and it still says 8k.

I say talk him down and get it! you will be very stisfied with the SVT.

I overpaid, too. Paid 10K for an 03SVT with 78K on the ticker. I wasnt really considering buying one (was looking for a RSX Type-S) so I didnt do any pricing research.

If its in good condition talk him down and enjoy. Ask if the clutch has been replaced yet.

I see 03 and 04 SVT's in my area with less miles than that for under 6K every now and then. Take your time and keep looking. You'll be able to find a much better deal than that.
