the 2010 n. american focus is out now?

Why is the 2010 model year (North American) Focus out already? I was checkin out the lots and saw these new colors thinking, "Is this a late-release change?" but fordvehicles.com is advertising the 2010 too. The sedan SES gets the cool coupe grill... not too many changes

Yeah its not too different. I believe they come stock with 911 assist and vehicle health report. That's about all the difference.

It's the Sync 3.0 that the 2010 has. Which is the Traffic, Directions and Information deal that requires a GPS chop as part of the system. Free GPS (no screen though, audio directions only) with sync and you never need to update it since sync calls out on your BT cell phone and grabs directions from a centralized server.

The 2010 also has ABS and traction control added as standard and the side vents are gone on all models including the SEL (09 still had them on the SEL). SES sedan got the same grille, wheels and suspension as the coupe version so they are identically equipped. There were a few other minor changes.

They will start building the 2011 Focus here this time next year. It will be out in late 2010 as a 2011 model.

That's a no. 2010 still has drums in the back. Honestly though, is anything wrong with drums on a car the size of a Focus? I'd think no.

There are two things wrong with the drums on the rear of a Focus, IMO. First, they will fade quicker than disks in hard use, such as mountain road/canyon running. Second, they look ludicrously small behind 17 inch wheels.
