Went from a focus to a caliber, now adding another ford to the garage

Well, long story short, i used to have an autotragic focus, 2001, egg yolk yellow.. about 9 months ago, i traded that in on a 2008 dodge caliber, which i absolutely love. Bigger, better gas mileage, and not an autotragic or cvt.

Well, was crusing craigslist today, and found an 86 5.0 mustang, saying he was willing to take trades. So, i called him up, and we agreed on a trade. So im going up there tonight to get the title, bill of sale, and keys

It also has a bad coil on it, so i bought one of those to slap on there.

Hopefully will get it running tonight, and then going there tomorrow to bring it home

Dont have a job at the moment, so its going to have to sit until i get a job, and then ill plate and insure it, and then drive it and start building it

if everything goes smoothly and i actually get the car, ill get some pics up when i get it home..

Ok I think I missed what you traded for. Hopefully you didn't trade your Caliber for it.

yea, ive been looking for a project car for years, and seeing as how i have no money because of the job situation, its an awesome deal

i just have to get it running tonight. got about 3/4 of the toolbox packed in my car, so hopefully i can get it going..

The guy said that it just needs a new coil, so i bought one of those as well, and bought jumper cables, so hopefully i can get it started tonight

then all i have to do is get it back home tomorrow when i get a ride up there

nothing better than a basically free 5.0 5-speed
