Question backup lights out, HELP!!!

my 02 ZX5 has a problem with the backup lights, they don't work! It's a stick and it seems that after I changed the rear shocks, the lights quit working. It may have started before I changed the shocks but didn't notice it till then.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated...

have you pulled the lights out, taken the hatch liner out to see if there is a brake in the wire anywhere? have u checked your fuse panel to see if somehow the fuse blew?

Check fuse box first. Then take the lights off and replace the bulbs. Start ripping interior apart dead last.

Thumbs up

thanks to everyone that replied. i did check everything that was suggested before i posted so i'm still without backup lights. as i went through other posts on this i think it's the switch. i noticed i did have backup lights last night, once, so the switch is the main culpret.

so now i'm looking for specific details on how to EASILY check the switch, any and all suggestions will be appreciated.
