Arrow Cash for Clunkers...Stalled

Well the cash for clunkers that the govt tried to jump start the auto industry with might be over before it even started..... b/c of it will run out of money too quickly
I'm sorry but they should have really looked this one over before they pulled the trigger and offered either 3500 or 4500 for your old ineffecient car.....

btw: i think every car co. was matching the Govt rebate

here the article on MSNBC
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32228179...tos/?gt1=43001

sorry if it has already been posted

Yeah, I saw that happening. There are some dealerships that are now not offering the deal to consumers for fear that the money has already been spent so to speak. The whole process of them disposing of the clunkers isn't that enviromentaly friendly either which I find to be rather hilarious considering they're offering the program to get more eco-friendly cars on the road.

I still say that most of the people who participate in the program could have afforded the car without the 3500 rebate. I don't agree with it even in principle to begin with, but I also don't think it will help anyone who needs help afford a car.

Just my 3 cents (adjusted for inflation)
