need help on next car

im giving my SE to my dad and getting a new car and so far i have it down to 3.
the most expensive is a 1988 5.0 mustang, black with perfect interior. it has about 225 hp and is about 6000 and has 102,xxx miles.

the next is a 1998 mustang gt with a 4.6l engien, red and gold with great interior with about 225 hp for about 5500 and 75,xxx miles

the last one is a red focus svt with exhaust, intake, lowered, wheels. not sure the hp but its interior has a few minor stains and is 4500 with 104,xxx

i no lots of people will say svt because this is a focus site but im just trying to get some honest feedback. maybe i can learn a little on each car.

if you really believe what your signature has to say, then your choice should be obvious.

Id either go with the SVT Focus or the 98 mustang. The 88 seems a little high priced for the mileage unless the body/interior are MINT.

I thought the 98 body style with the 4.6 was difficult to work on. The 88 does seem high priced. The SVT is about the only one that is priced right IMO.

idk if it matters at all but im only 17, i figure the svt woulld not only be the best priced but also the most logical with todays gass prices. and it also has more room and probable easiest to fix if anything goes wrong

has the svt had the timing belt changed? might wanna see when the clutch was replaced last as well otherwise you're going to be spending over $1000 on it when the clutch does go plus the timing belt/water pump will need to be replaced

OKay man, here it is. I got my 5-door SVT at 17. It was the BEST decision of my life!!! I wouldnt get the mustangs personally. But thats me and I dont want any mustang other than a cobra.

You will be EXTREMELY happy with the SVT, I have had no problems with mine whatsoever. Just had to get brakes and a new clutch.

Learning how to drive a stick should take you about 15 minutes, you could stall a few times then you'll get the hang of it. Or you could be like a natural and wont stall at all.

The SVT is great in the corners, It may only run in the high 14s but straight lining is not near as fun as whipping it through the turns.

I say SVT, save up and boost it. You will eat mustangs for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unless ofcourse its built. But anyways.

If you get it checked out and all is well, GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get the SVT. Besides, driving stick is was more fun. I didn't want to get a manual seeing as I didn't know how to drive one. I got one anyway and I'm really glad I did. They are just so much better than slush boxes.
