2003 ford focus shop service manual

What's a genuine Ford Shop Manual worth?? i can get a "paper" manual (which i prefer over a CD or DVD) for 2003 Focus for $90. i was told it includes information specific to my SVT's. it's red and maybe an 1 1/2 inch thick. is $90 just part of the cost of working on my car myself??

as some of u know, i am pulling the head on my 2002 SVT and primarily need explicit instructions for disasssembly/assembly and especially torques (for such things as the passenger side motor mount!!). i have the head down to just having to take the cams out and then the actual head bolts. but i am a little worried about actually pulling the cams (i do have them at cyl #1 tdc).

thanks,
Red Sonja

this is off ebay and the actual manual title is:
"2003 Workshop Manual, Focus"

this manual from Helm Inc. who is the official publisher for such is $180 new. so this ebay one is half price...

Re: look down

ok, thanks... i did look through those materials.

one gripe is, i don't like Haynes manuals. their British vocab and units take some getting used to.

the engine specs w/ torques was more usefull. assumbing i can trust those number as being from FORD. also the Head Bolts and Cam Cover Bolts did not have torques. i know the Head Bolts are special in that they are torqued down a bit at a time in a certain order. and the last torque is like 270deg or some such.

anyway, i really want an "official" Ford Workshop Manual... paper copy only!!!

thanks for the Parts Manual *.pdf

that will prove to be very useful, especially to know the dealer retail price (don't know as of when?), and what parts are available separately vs one assembly.
