Possible Heat Shield Vibtation ??

Ive got this vibrating going on underneath the car when idle and sometimes when coming off the gas. Is this possibly a heat shield problem ?

could very well be. crawl under there and have a look; see if any of the metal foil heat shield is hang ing on the exhaust pipe. mine did that, i fixed it with some fender washers.

That's exactly what I did to fix mine, a handful of huge washers to fit over the cracked part, then tighten them back down with screws that originally hold it down. It's chinsy, and not very well designed; that's what it comes off.
