What cool mods are out there??

Hi - I just read the thread about the '05 fog light jumper. I have an 07 so this mod will not work for me.

Are there other simple mods or enhancements that can be done to the 07?

I'm aware of big changes like exhaust, engine tuning (not so big) etc. I'm more interested in the cool tips & tricks people do to make the car behave differently like to fog light jumper.

Coolest enhancement is to add a trailer hitch.
Another is the cigarette lighter socket flashlight (Volkswagen P/N 7L6-947-175-A) ~$25

Home Depot lip for like $20 bucks is nice. painting the interior trim costs about $10 and looks great, cutting the stock antenna to a shorty antenna is free and looks amazing, hacking down the stock shifter to make an "sts" is free, doing the full-recline seat mod allows the front seats to recline past the stopping point as far as you want, you can paint eyelids onto the headlights for like $5, you can tint your tail lights with VHT NightShade for like $20 or so, you can do the "lunchbox delete" to make the car sound a little bit louder without paying a dime, you can paint the mirror caps for like $15. there's plenty of cheap and easy DIY mods that you can do, and all of them have how-tos on here =) i've done most of these on my own, and they were all easy and yielded great results

I don't know about the ciggy - but I put a hitch on my VW Jetta & pulled this tiny little trailer. I still have the trailer though the jetta is long gone. I've thought I might put a hitch on the focus for the same reason.

I know - I'm a dork, but I drive a focus right - so there's no helping it. Besides - you would not believe how much more you can do with just a small trailer - haul dead deer from hunting season & not get guts on the back seat, load up the kids for a trip to the in-laws. Lots of good uses.
