Need advice

Just tonight as I was heading home, I heard a very distinct exhust note... not ricey but decently loud and rumbly (almost Borlaish) . It turned out to be a fellow Foci owner in a Zx4 (mtx /w leather seats)........ so any way we got to talking and I said " I like your exhust ....wanna trade?... He said sure and gave me his number so we can meet and trade my STOCK exhust for his 3A racing AFTER markert one (never heard of it)
BTW I told him about ff.com

what should I do?

Will the exhust off the sedan fit my Zx3?

Too good to be true and won't you need to fab some pieces up to make it fit? If you're happy with yours, keep it.

Sedan and ZX3 are different exhaust.
IIRC, it's the back 1/2 that's different due to the trunk.

According to the site's that sell cat-back exhaust, like CFM, the sedan exhaust won't fit your car. I guess you could make it work with some modification. But why?

That and I can't see you getting your stock exhaust off witout cutting it in half. I tried to get mine off in one piece and it wasn't going anywhere, even with mine having no lunchbox muffler on the end. So unless he or you knows how to weld pretty well, I say no.

You meet this guy on the street, tell him how much you like his exhaust, ask him "let's trade" and he say's OK let's trade . Sorry, but whether it fits or not (which I don't think it will) this sounds a little bizzare to me.
