Lincoln MKS running 13.9?!

Thats right.

http://jalopnik.com/5264270/ecoboost...-hit-the-strip

The boys over a Jalopnik got their hands on 3 MKS's and were allowed to drag race them. 13.9 at 103+ mph. They are AWD, so that helped the launch, but hurt the top end....

Mustang? HUH?! I'll take the grocery getter for $1000 Alex.

Imagine what a better intercooler, intake, and tune would do for this car......

Put that engine in a Mustang, and give me that, forget the new coyote 5.0L. the 3.5 Eco Boost will handle better, and when you turn the turbos up, be over 400hp...

Maybe GM will make a "retro" GN or Monte with a 3.8 turbo to compete......if they do, they had better make it handle decently this time around, cuz the originals were nothing but straight line speed....

The base engine is the 3.7 (NA). The EcoBoost 3.5 should be hitting the lots soon.

IDK about that, the new taurus looks amazing, and I bet if someone slapped a L badge on it no one would know the difference. And actually no, the taurus SHO has better HP numbers I believe and a sport suspension and trans. Wonder what that thing will run. Although the MKS is based on the Fusion, not the taurus....so it might not be much faster.

Im looking forward to both the Coyote V8 and the Ecoboost Mustang. Even though the mustang with the ecoboost might be the better car over the v8 after some tuning and such....you still won't have that signature v8 sound, which to some is a big negative. I'm just waiting for these engines to come out so all the camaro (I like the camaro and think its a great bargin, just its not extremely better then the mustang like people are saying) fanboys shut up. They all say the mustang is slower, yet its not much slower then the Camaro, which has way more hp and tq. Once the mustang gets these engines they'll eat the Camaro alive.

Look what the Mustang is doing now with 315hp.....imagine what it can do with 400. People will be staring at the Mustangs sequential tailights all day.

Even though I would love a v8, it they ecoboost the thing and price it in the low 20's...I will not hesitate to buy one over a v8. And I'm sure being a Mustang, Ford will work hard to tune the exhaust properly so it sounds deep like a mustang should.

The MKZ is based on the Fusion, the MKS is based on the Taurus chassis.
