People's view on the V-8 conversion

Well as many of you know, there is a V=8 conversion for the Focus, if you didn't then you do now. If you have $69,500.00 and can wait 70 days, your focus will be turned into a V-8 beast, you'll also get a two year, 24,000 mile warrenty. The conversion is done by ATI motorsports. If you've seen the new Focus Fanatic mag, you should of seen it. My question is though, what do ya'll think of this?, about doing a V-8 swap in a focus, I mean Honda and Acura have the JDM swap, we have the V-8 swap. So what is people's views on this, and have you ever thought about doing this?

I didnt realize it cost that much, but for $69,500 I'd get a '03 Cobra and keep the change for some good toys. I would never spend that kind of money on a Focus, makes no sense.

why do you want to spend 69k on a focus ?
with that money you can buy a cobra or even a z06...

beats me, i wouldn't do it, but ud have to love the focus so much that u sleep in it, eat in it, ect in order to do a V-8 conversion or you want a really fast focus, but you could do that with a turbo set up.

I saw a v-8 conversion focus in Carlisle this year, very nicely done and probably a fun FUN ride, but for that much cash, I'll have to agree with above, there's alot more to do with that much money
