Prolong question....

Hiya all not been here for a while, anyway I got a question for the focus owners from the State side, has any of you used an American product called Prolong (http://www.prolong.uk.com/). I have heard some good things about it but want to know if it really does meke ur car drive better and if anyone has used it?

I heard about it but it really won't make the car drive any better. I use Mobil 1 Synthetic in all of my cars. That has bee the best for me.

all the additives like prolong and slick 50 is nothing more than snake oil and won't help anything, and may hurt. I would avoid it.

I use Prolong religiously. Before I add the oil after the oil change, I put a bottle of that stuff in, and then the oil. I've noticed it really is more beneficial for my higher mileage car.

I think that z-max stuff is more diluted. That's just like rubbing alcohol.

Prolong is a waste as I see it, no one I have talked to claimed any real benefit.

It seems to keep my higher mileage car running just fine, I still haven't retired her after the many miles we've shared together. No harm can be done, only benefit. Just like people, cars need a colon cleans too

I thought prolong was the stuff you smeared on your joint to keep it up all night. .Seriously, I have this anti- elephant whistle that always works...look..I'm blowing it right now....and look at that.....No elephants
