right i from the uk and not sure what guys mean when u say a few things like

tune would tht be a remap of the ecu
ricer?

theres a few other but i cant remember them at the min

ricer is slang for car from japan/asia that has usually been modified. It is usually a derogatory term making fun of how the car looks or sounds, due to the modifications. the term can be applied to any car that someone feels deserves the name, see here for examples

^The car does not have to be from Asia.. it can be a car from any region.. The modifications usaullly have no real purpose - huge wings, exhaust tips that are 5 times the actual size of the exhaust, stickers for manufacturers or parts that aren't even on the car... parts are also cheap imitations of better products...

next can some explain each specs, mks focus's from the US

i already know the svt is a st170
zx3 is 2.0 zetec but is tht a base model like in uk well av loads of different specs like cl,lx,zetec,ghia

This will give you a brief run down of the Focus history here in the U.S..http://www.edmunds.com/ford/focus/review.html We just never had the ghia or cl model here. 2.0L Zetec was the base model for the first three years here. 2003 they introduced the 2.3L Duratec for states that had high emissions controls. And then the 2.0L Duratec as added later.
