Im not a fan at all of body kits. esp ones with huge snow plows for fronts. so i wont comment on that but if your paint is screwed up it would prolly benefit you to get the kit and then get the car and the kit painted to match at one time.

if ur gonna do a body kit, make sure u do it tastefully. get like a WRC kit or RS kit. then paint the WHOLE CAR cause alot of times, the blending comes out bad.

Depends on the body kit you get. A fiberglass kit is usually ill-fitting half the time and requires a lot of massaging to make it fit half way decently. Most of the time spent on a fiberglass kit is in the fitting of it. I have been through several myself. Three alone with the Focus, I had a Wings West W-Type body kit that fit like it was on there before then sold it to a friend. Bought a fiberglass EVO III body kit, it was just a bear to mount everything and make it fit properly. And now I have a Kaminari polyurethane kit that fits like a glove. What you would want to do first is have the kit painted then the body of the car rather than mounting everything and having it painted on the car. If you go the route of having the car repainted a different color that is. If you are going to paint it the same color as the car just mount them on the car then paint. All depends on what you are wanting to do. I would definately choose a polyurethane kit over a fiberglass kit anyday, but the only drawback about urethane is that you don't have a wild batch to choose from for the Focus.
