Question Should I...or shouldn't I?

I have a chance to pickup this really clean 1998 Mustang V6/5-spd coupe with 95,529 miles on it.It has never been in an accident,(all original tags on fenders, doors, hood & trunk),has a clean CarFax report and flew through our service department w/o needing anything more than regular servicing.Brakes have recently been done and the rubber is good...car tracks straight and shifts tightly...everything works,A/C blows ice cold.

I might make it a commuter or maybe a track car,I can pick it up for $3500 + fees ($3,985 OTD).

Wifey might kill me but what do you guys think...?

Should I be concerned about parts availability because of the age...or should that be a problem because Ford made so many of them?

I'd do it and throw a Cobra head on it

Seriously, for that good of condition, it's totally worth it and a perfect opportunity for you.

Go ahead and stimulate that economy

What do you mean a "cobra head"? thats got a 3.8 liter v6 in it. If your in the market for a stang then use that money and buy a 87-93 or 94-95 mustang gt. Those can be had for about the same price.. and you can put cobra heads on those.
