Another SVT Dead...

On sunday morning around 12:30 am I hear a streetbike rev out, then a loud thud, continued by scraping and parts flying. I get out of bed, hear my alarm going off, and immediately I know what has happened. I get outside and see a guy picking up his bike, ask him if he is ok, he saysp yes. I then reluctantly look over to where my car is. And see the most horible thing you can see on your car! The whole driver's side has been wiped out, from the rear bumper, to the front bumper! You can fill in the blanks as to what came out of my mouth! The police came, filed a report, and all that other crap.

On Tuesday, I take it to the body shop.

Yesterday I was called by my insurance, the damage is around $7000.
Needless to say, they are going to total the car. The good thing I suppose,
I was told I woud receive around $8000.
I think for a 2002 SVT with 89k, that is pretty good.

A moment of silence for ST 170, #903.......

Born on April 9th 2002 in Hermosillo, Mexico.

Died on April 9th 2009 in Fairfield, Ca.

A part out would be great but the insurance company probably won't let him remove any of the bolt ons. suxxxorz

Too bad your ORP just didn't fall out and hit the ground, I'd like to have a backup....lol

Thanks guys.

Yea it sucks, but Ive been looking around for the next car.

Im thinking Mazdaspeed 6, or Subaru Legacy GT.

Kinda leaning towards the Legacy.

And in regards to parts, I didnt have the orp in it so...
its for sale and a steeda intake also.
If I would have known they were going to total it,
I would have taken the CFM TB, FRPP STS, and the injectors.

Sucks! At least we got to see her before she was mutilated by an idiot on 2 wheels... I need to know where she's parked now so I can coax the JRSC off her!

Import a RS! There's a good article about it in the "Top Gear" magazine.
