Pipe dream...

How about a Focus GT with the Duratec 30 240HP? I mean the last Cougar had a V6, I think Ford could pull it off....what do you think?

Do you know what a pain in the @$$ working on the cougars is? They shoe-horned that engine in there making working on them a real treat.

its not like the designers have modders in mind when they design cars anyways.

Ah, nothing beats hiring a bunch of people with small arms and hands to work in the tiny cracks under the hood. That's what I think everytime I pop the hood and attempt to remove something lol

They will do that, or anything else we want, as long as Ford is 110% positive they can sell them for a profit, in whatever amounts they can. Sounds great right?
Only problem is, the market is very narrow, there just aren't that many people out there who can and will buy any high perfomance focus they put out...Ford did well with the SVT focus, they will need to find a way to re-create that magic again before they do anything like that...
in the meantime, feel free to build your own...

Mazda's 6 along with Ford's Fusion did kinda shoehorn the Duratec 6CYL, to he point where you need to take the intake manifold of to reach the back 3 spark plugs. What a nightmare....
