Dual Exhaust

So I am thinking about doing dual exhaust on my sedan. Below is a photoshopped picture of what it would look like. Please let me know what you guys think. My only concern is that it would be ricey becuase after all, I do only have a I4 caged under the hood You can click the thumbnail for a larger picture!

nah it's not ricey, looks pretty sweet and if I remember correctly, a camaro muffler fits perfectly behind the rear bumper, and it has a 1 inlet/ 3 outlet design

or you could always swap for a D30

I wouldn't do it, for anyone who knows anything about the motors, they will know its a 4cy and duals would serve no purpose. They will probably think its rice. If its a show car, its one thing, but if its not, i would shy away from it.

so the dual... will it help performance or decrease performance?
because i heard if you have dual on a non-dual car.
it will decrease the back pressure...

anyone can educate me on this matter?

Nothing wrong with dual exhaust, I've been sporting them for the last 3 years or so. And as for back pressure...it is so minimal I really don't think it makes that much of a difference to be honest with you.

Lose the mudflaps and the duals will look much better than your shoop already does! I like it.

Camaro muffler? Now you've got the gears turning in my head lol... very easy to cut another notch on the passenger side of the bumper.

As for back pressure: it's not a two stroke engine! Back pressure in and of itself is not something you want on a car/truck. You want zero backpressure, but maximum scavenging/exhaust velocity. Scavenging will 'suck' the exhaust out of the engine IE: much better efficiency and performance. /school's over.
