I'm suprised he is the first to go. I've felt that since these companies and CEOs who allowed bad business practices to take place, and favored them, should have had more strings attached to ALL of the bailout money they received.

When the tax payers are the major stock holders, why not?

Did anyone watch the southpark episode this past week?

That's exactly why they shouldn't have been given our money in the first place.

The government never should have put such ridiculously stringent CAFE and MPG regulations on them, and the auto makers should have held their ground against the unions. Problem solved without stealing our money. Oh yeah, and our corporate tax rate is the second highest in the world. Not very conducive to a prosperous business environment.

I want to know why they arent doing this to the banks!!!! And why is it that the guys in charge of AIG are still employed!?!?!?! I think this sort of action needs to be done, but not to the car industry. The car companies are actully trying to repair themselves, whereas the banks are lining their own pockets with OUR F'ING MONEY!!!!!!! SOMEONE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GM borrowed a measly 13 billion or something like that and the CEO has to quit?...however AIG got bailed out to the tune of 170 billion! and gave 136 million in bonuses! hmmmm...but then again GM wasn't a huge campaign contributer to obama's campaign either...

people wanted change..well guess what? you got change!
