Difference between 2005 & 2007 Focus ZX4 ST

Just wondering what changes were made from the 2005 model to the 2007. My brother-in-law has the 2005 model and I have the 2007. I have no clue personally but could some one shed some light on this?

Edit: Aside from the year it was produced.

um, his D23 is going to have the power steering reservoir near the firewall. yours is located on top of the intake manifold. other than that, im not really sure. it should be pretty close other than that.

yours looks like that. the reservoir is that little white box near the bottom center

His is like that. the reservoir is near the top center of the pic

In 2005 you couldn't order the Street Appearance Package on it. In 2006-07 you could. I see more 2005 models with the grey/red cloth interior, where as most 06-07 ones I see have the black suede/leather interiors. But I think you could still get the leather in 2005.

The 05 springs are interchangeable with the years prior and only 06-07 springs fit the newer foci...

The fuse box under the hood is different. The '05 ST will have the same fuse box as the '00-'04 models, which means you can do the R13 jumper fog light mod.

How To: 2005 Foglight Mod

You can't do this on the '07. You must modify the relay on the '07, and unless you have a decent knowledge electronics and soldering, you will cause a disaster to happen to your electrical system.

also the battery setup is different

as is the heatshield and header although all headers will bolt up to either.

Traction control was standard on the 2005 ST. Became an option on the 06's.
Another change I've noticed is the 06 FoFo's (all models) lost the little "wheel" that closes off the far left & right dash vents. I think that was a running change they made in the 06 model year. No biggie but I like to close off the pass side (when alone) to force more air to my side.
