Finally got Wagon 2 Running

as most of you know I bought Wagon 2 with a supposed internally Blown engine and it didn't run for $700
(was told that it lost Cyl 2-3 and 4 (no compression whatsoever) they also commented that Zetecs have a chain, (my thought uhhh noobies don't know a single thing about zetecs) and that Cylinder 1 pulled off a 147psi

(Initial cranking, i listened to the engine it was running no compression aside to 1 but there was no metal to metal noise)

Well I got my wish a Warm day so i dove into replacing the timing belt and from my gut feeling I knew the belt was bad
I didn't realize how bad theres ALOT of teeth missing all over but one section has a near 4-5inch gap of missing teeth

anyways this is to the few that told me the collapsing PCV tube doesn't cause stalling and has nothing to do with the idle of the vehicle
well just a FYI its DOES this car has a screwed hose and it idles like crap but when I cut the hose and installed a temp it ran perfect
heres before I cut it
(also notice this one was incorrectly installed that its 90degree out and up not 90degree and right like its supposed to be.. inspecting the hose yielded 2 collapsed spots and a HUUGE hole)

and heres it running ( cold start next morning )
(Please note: the heavy rattling is the rear hatch the locking mechanism on it has all 3 screws loose .. never got around to tightening it.. but it shows how rough its idling)

heres a clip of its loping trying to idle I tried to get the hissing but the mic is mounted on the side of the cam so it picked up the ticking from the injectors primarily

Cool I can't see the pictures cause of my work's firewall but it does sound like you got yourself a heck of a deal there. So all that was needed was a new timming belt and pvc hose? So it runs good now?

Ahh yup Im gunna have it degreased steam cleaned and I'm pulling that engine

I got it running so I can sell it (im not kidding that was my intention from the beginning)

My Initial wagon was recently written off by my Insurance company after an accident so Im pulling that engine tranny and interior and transplanting it into Wagon 2..

Wagon 1 has roughly 160,000k
Wagon 2 has roughly 220,000k

I've dumped quite alot of time effort and money into wagon 1's engine in the 3 years Ive owned it and it ran amazing Im unsure of wagon 2's life but from all the common problems with Focuses NONE were addressed (except the igition) on Wagon 2

Wagon 1 got a new T-stat, T-stat Housing, Timing belt, waterpump, pullies, alternator, starter, battery Throttlebody, TPS , Springs, 3 brand new Pats Keys, 2 brand new remotes (computer wiped and reprogrammed for the new keys) so instead of wasting all that money im just transplanting everything thats from wagon 1 into Wagon 2 (wagon 1 has SEVERE Structural damage from the accident)

in reality its like fate had a hand in this, it found me a car with a near mint body but dilapidated interior and an engine not cared for and fate took my main wagon away by destroying the body but the engine and interior are untouched

heres a few pics of the carnage of wagon 1

And inside UNDER the carpet (Unseen damage)

I did XD but Focusfest.com's forums don't use the same design as Focusfanatics ( I forgot about this one) so im logged in and posting through focusfest.com... im praying they don't update this one cuz i will bolt again

Focusfest has the same options but its theme and stylesheets are proper and it has correct sizing and layouts it also still has the slider at the bottom to scroll left and right which is still deferred from the new layout on focusfanatics version)

oh yeah, wtf, I just noticed that......there ISN'T a slider and my scrolling uh, roller ball thing in the middle of my mouse goes all directions too.....doesn't work with it.
anyway, like I said, at least you got it running now (looks like you had to rev it a bit to keep it from dieing though.)

the first rev wasn't me it was the car the second was me

also i realized i never let the car relearn its idle
the longest i tran it is when i tried out the tranny ( shifting) I got it to properly shit and downshift but i managed to get the car from 35-40 to downshift to second then punched it again and dropped it back to 4th redlining it (Im an ass to the car right now specially when one of the drive tires (fronts) is a spacesaver spare LOOOOL)
I do have to say its got LOTS of power and shifts NIICE

oh yeah the real tire is in the garage it has a slow bead leak (leaking between the rim and tire bead)

lol spares gotta love em, oh yeah I also forgot the seatbelts are unbolted cuz I was removing them, the airbag controller was pulled cuz if the side impacts go it will surely screw up my arm/shoulder (shoulder is wider then the seat and rests on the door when I sit straight), the brakes are majorly boned (warped rotors) and I have broken springs LOOOOL
