does 4 door really matters?

Good news is, my wife now like focus!! Even the ST, because of the color.

but she really wants a four doors, because it is going to be easier to get baby in and out.

however, that half door going to help??

any idea??
does it really help? that half door?

It doesn't seem like it would help all that much. I have the 2 door hatch and it's pretty easy to get my daughter in and out. especially when she was younger and in her smaller rear-facing car seat. now she is in her bigger front-facing car seat which is a bit more difficult but still not bad.

see i have been telling her focus...
and she refused...
but yesterday, she parked right next to a 5-door focus.
and she liked it and found out it is not all that small...

she said focus is really cute...
now all I have to do is to make her like ST
or make her like 2 door...

but really, if she agree on ST... i don really care is 2 door or 4 door...
of coz i think 2 door looks better...
like i said it is only half more door... like another 15 inch or so?
should not be that big of a different...

she wants that ST blue LOL!!
not organe, but what not...
better than black!!
she wants black before... but i refused...
coz her family had 4 black cars in a roll...
hahaha

eh, just get the 2 door and fabricate a custum harness of some sort in the back that keeps the kid "suspended"(in a seat) in "mid-air". that would be cool, and give easy access to put her in and out and completly save in case of an accident(lord forbid).

Speaking not as a parent, but as a person who's had niece's and nephews to get out of his ZX5, go for the 4 door, the front door's shortened a little to make the back door wider than in your pic. It's nice, doesn't really get in the way of anything and you can park in tighter spaces.

park tighter space is a very good point!!
Europe is so small, they are lacking of parking,
and 4 door does give you a little more room to park,
coz you doesn't have a big door to open!!
i really want 2 door... but wife... you all know wife...
unless they are into cars...

and she is turning 25... getting old...

I have owned a 2-door (ZX3) and now own a 4-door (ZX5), and I will never go back to a 2-door.

Other than looks, there's no reason for 'em. The damn doors are too big (LOTS of fun in tight parking spaces. Not), accessing the backseat is a PITA, etc. Once you get the adolescent out of your system, a 4-door just makes a million times more sense - and with a BABY, it's a no brainer: FOUR-DOOR!!!

Plus, if you're considering a NEW U.S. Focus (not sure why you have a pic of the Euro Focus here, unless you're fantasizing about the future), the 4-door looks way better than the coupe...
