Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake (concept)

I work for a composites company and was thinking about making a cold air intake out of carbon fiber, reasons are Carbon fiber is doesn't transfer heat so the would remain cooler, It's something no focus has, and i really like the way carbon fiber looks. So what do you guys think nice or rice?

nice

but id like to see CAD drawings, a drawing on a napkin, some sort of idea to make it different then a normal intake. because you can lay CF differently then just pipe so you could change shape, size, and route of the air. im curious to see your designs.

I don't know how to use CAD yet. I have taken courses in aerodynamics and used to work on aircraft so i know how to make air flow faster and easier. Im going to use my car for the tests, will publish the dyno's here but thats still a ways away and need to finish the design first.

I think it would be cool to see some sort of air intake for a zetec where you move the battery to the trunk and have the air intake go right up to the spot the battery used to sit

i'm not normally around this section much but I saw the title and it interested me!
