Trade SVTF for Mustang Gt, or no?

Story is, my 03 SVTF just hit 100K miles, needs some work, and I started looking at new cars. I drove an 09 Focus coupe, and an 08 Mustang GT. I really like the GT, and can get it for about $20K which is the high end of my budget. I am really undecided right now, and trying to find pros and cons of this move. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Have you considered a non-Ford car? Cause if so, there are so many other options out there.

True but they are expensive as crap to maintain. For example, a new coil pack is over $500. Not they aren't awesome cars and I see them as a more refined, more powerful AWD SVTF.

An STI would be one of my first choices for a new car.

I prefer to stay with a Ford product, and it has to be new. (wife says new or nothing)

I absolutely hate VW's

I would like an STI, but again, it would have to be new, and that would be way out of my price range.

^^mazdaspeed which one don't matter both good (6 & 3) You can find dealers trying to get rid of them. It'll probably be right up there with the stang' in price though. I'm sure you can find a brand spanking new early 08' speed3

It needs about $3K in body work (Hail damage, front bumper smashed) and is due for timing belt, P.S. pump is leaking, thermostat housing is leaking, needs new clutch/flywheel, and a few other little things, after that, I will have more money stuck in thecar than it is worth. I am tired of putting money in this car already.
